What is Perk Hero for Restaurants?

Perk Hero provides products and services to restaurants such as self-serve QR code-powered ordering and paying, online ordering platform, custom branded apps, digital loyalty system that are convenient for restaurant staff and customers.

Do I get notified when a customer places an order?

Yes, restaurants on Perk Hero will receive a notification that contains the order details. If you turn on push notifications on your device, you will also be notified via push notification once an order has been placed with your restaurant.

How can I contact a customer who has made a purchase from my store?

To contact a customer through their phone number, follow the steps below:
Step 1: Open Merchant Management under My Account menu
Step 2: Select your merchant from the list to open your merchant profile
Step 3: Select the order from your merchant’s order list
Step 4: Tap on the three dots in the upper right corner and select Customer Phone Number to reveal the customer’s contact information, including their name and number.

How do I access my store’s transaction reports?

To view or export your store’s transaction report, follow the steps below:
Step 1: Open Merchant Management under My Account menu
Step 2: Select your merchant from the list to open your merchant profile
Step 3: Select Settings (located at the upper right corner) from the Profile menu
Step 4: Tap on the Reports tab to view reports/ schedule report exports.
I’m encountering an issue that is not addressed in the Merchant Help Centre. What should I do? For general inquiries, please use our Contact form located here. How do I get paid for orders and payments?

You will receive payout deposits from our platform directly to the bank account that is used to sign up for your restaurant.

How do customers receive rewards when using Perk Hero app?

Customers receive Perk Coin rewards every time they make a purchase or payment in the Perk Hero app. The more purchases/ payments a user makes with Perk Hero, the more Perk Coins they can earn, up to a maximum of 1.8% earn rate.

Can Perk Coins be redeemed towards future purchases on Perk Hero?

Perk Coins can be redeemed by users towards any future purchase with Perk Hero.

As a seller, do I have to pay for the amount of Perk Coins redeemed by a customer when placing an order from my store?

No, the cost of redeeming Perk Coins is not borne by the sellers. When a customer makes a purchase, you will receive the full amount of the order, prior to the redemption of Perk Coins, net of ordering, payment processing fees and platform reward fee, if applicable.

Can Perk Coins be exchanged into cash or other currency?

Perk Coins cannot be exchanged or converted into cash or other currency and can only be applied towards purchases on Perk Hero.

How do customers place orders?

Customers place orders on the Perk Hero app available for iOS or Android mobile devices, or via our web store. Once an order is placed, you’ll be notified through push notifications (if allowed on your device) or through email confirmations.

How can I receive the details of the orders placed?

Do customers receive a receipt when ordering through Perk Hero?

Yes, customers who placed an order will receive an email receipt containing the details of their orders.

What payment methods does Perk Hero accept?

Perk Hero currently accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Alipay.

How do I know when a payment has been made?

Every time a customer makes a payment, you will receive a push notification on your device indicating the amount of payment made to your store. The payment will also be recorded under Payments, located in the Activity tab under Merchant Management.

Am I able to refund a payment?

In order to refund a payment or reverse a transaction, please contact our Sales team at info@wp-perkhero.mystagingwebsite.com. Our team will be happy to assist you with the refund process. Please note that it may take up to 14 days for a refund to appear on a customer’s credit card statement.

Is there a limit to the amount that I can receive in a single transaction?

We have a limit of $2,000 for a single transaction, and a minimum transaction value of $0.50.

How do I edit my business profile as a seller?

You can edit your business profile by following the steps below:
Step 1: Step 1: Open Merchant Management under My Account menu
Step 2: Select your merchant from the list to open your merchant profile
Step 3: Select Settings (located at the upper right corner) from the Profile menu
Step 4: From here you can edit your store’s photo and information.
